Professional Outreach - Continuing Education
Those individuals who hold a professional license in one of the counseling or nursing disciplines are required to earn specific credits each year as a way to prove their competency in their chosen field. InnerWisdom, Inc. provides continuing education credits (CEU) through the University of Houston, Graduate School of Social Work.
Educational Programs
As continuing education options have become more diverse, InnerWisdom, Inc. has been able to collaborate with other agencies and organizations in order to provide interesting and educational information to professionals. Faculty members from across the country are sought out and integrated into the educational program through audio-conferencing. Working with a national behavioral health organization - The Association of Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare (AABH), aabh.org, located in Alexandria, Virginia, a series of audio conferences, as well as other educational material, is made available.
In addition, workshops, seminars, and training sessions are conducted at InnerWisdom, Inc. utilizing staff members and professionals from the Houston area.
