We have pondered questions and potential answers to treatment and policy issues for over twelve years now. We think that we have come up with some sound and competent answers. InnerWisdom, Inc. was developed out of the need to assist clients in a health care system that was drastically changing. Client's are now able to accept a new way of thinking; that health care decisions should not always be left up to the professional alone. They are beginning to insist on taking personal responsibility for their health issues. Clients can now be taught how to rely on themselves to gather the information that most benefits them and their medical condition and life-style. These and other questions had to be solved before the staff at InnerWisdom, Inc. could establish an effective treatment program. We feel that we are now ready to assist other professionals in their pursuit, and aid in the development of specific programs that fit most recovering groups and situations.

The basic philosophy from which we operate is that the Body, Mind and Soul are a unified whole, and cannot be treated independently, one from another. In addition, it is important to determine what the mind of each individual currently believes; how it got the information from which it operates; what residual, unresolved, negative feelings have contributed to the dysfunctional factors of the prevailing life-style, and how the body has suffered from the lingering effects of its negative programming. In addition, by using the well-researched Family Concept, and other Concepts, the Programs & Services, and Strategies, developed by InnerWisdom, Inc. can be used to design a personal and individualized treatment plan, including all aspects of the client's current and previous life experiences and relationships.

InnerWisdom, Inc. is firm in our belief that education is essential to bringing awareness to mental health issues and the discrimination that has been brought to bear on those who experience mental/emotional problems.
